How long does treatment take?

Treatment plans are based on treatment needs and the type of coverage offered by a client’s insurance. Length of treatment can be 30 – 90 days in length. Regularly scheduled evaluations help keep client treatment plans based on a client’s current status.

How is a treatment plan determined?

Treatment for each client is based upon a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment.

Should I live in a sober living community during treatment?

There is an argument for being away from home during treatment. Research has shown that people can be distracted by family dynamics during treatment. Also, being at home leaves the client vulnerable to friends and acquaintances that were part of a client’s substance abuse history. Drug and alcohol treatment requires quiet, reflective time to engage in an honest review of one’s emotional life.

What is the percentage of licensed therapists at the facility?

At Liberation Way, all our therapists are licensed with expertise in addiction treatment. We are proud that our client/therapist ration is 6-8/1. Our recovery coach and supportive housing support boast the same low ratios.

What is a family program?

Addiction is known as a family disease because it has a profound impact on how families function and how individual members cope with addiction. Family programs examine the dysfunction that develops within a family because of addiction. These programs foster personal responsibility, expose other problems that fuel addiction, reduce the risk of addiction among children in the family, builds healthy boundaries and more.

What is aftercare?

Aftercare is an integral part of addiction treatment. Upon the completion of treatment, aftercare programs provide the support and counseling that is needed as the client moves further into living a life without substances. Aftercare is the link that keeps clients from immediately relapsing after treatment.
